Upgrade Armor
Allows you to add improvements to your armor which will increase its effectiveness. Duration can be enhanced by Improved Tinkering.
Cost: 5 PP
When Used
When no armor upgrade is active:
How would you like to upgrade your armor?
Resistance
You apply a high-tech coating to your armor. It'll get worn off eventually, but it should last you a while. (Added for X minutes.).
Superabsorbance
You build in some high-tech absorbant padding to your armor. It'll fall apart eventually, but it should last you a while. (Added for X minutes.)
Motorized
You build in some high-tech micromotors to your armor, greatly increasing your agility and reaction time. It's bound to get broken eventually, but it should be a great help while it works. (Added for X minutes.)
When Upgrade Armor: Resistance is active:
You renew the finish of your armor coating, increasing its useful lifetime. (Added for X minutes.)
When Upgrade Armor: Superabsorbance is active:
You patch the padding on your armor, ensuring it will last longer. (Added for X minutes.)
When Upgrade Armor: Motorized is active:
You retune the high-tech micromotors to[sic] your armor, increasing their useful lifetime by quite a bit. (Added for X minutes.)
Notes
- X is 30 + T, where T is 10 if one has Improved Tinkering, plus the number of skill points invested in Improved Tinkering.
- Prior to the introduction of skill points, X was 45. In addition, the options available were Fireproof, Absorption and Improved Reflexes, which were improved to the current set when one acquired Improved Tinkering.
