  • The precursor to Leap Day was the appearance of Hopping Pond on February 26, 2012.
  • The actual attack February 29, 2012. A message on the main page said:
Happy March! We just barely escaped from February by the skin of our teeth. What? It's still February? I guess that would explain the legion of amphibians in St. Anne's Park downtown.
