x-ray glasses
Plural: pairs of x-ray glasses
While created by Dr. Xavier, these weren't named X after him. They were, of course, named for the mysterious rays outside the visible light spectrum. Using these will allow you to see through things like briefcases, clothes, so on and so forth. But please don't use them to ogle attractive citizens; that's just tacky and not very heroic.
Just be careful when using these things, okay? The last guy wore them way too much and started seeing things at the edge of the universe, and we all know that there's stuff out there that man was not meant to know. The last thing we need is more babbling heroes going on about creatures moving through angles of time, mad piping demons, and strangers wearing no masks. Honestly, it's just gauche.
