Plural: frusion superstrings
It looks like someone took all the weird stuff they could find and crammed it into one place. You're sure if you figured it out, you'd have solved all the mysteries of the universe, but only because you would have had to already solve them all to understand this.
Or maybe you can use it as yarn. That seems easier.
