Warped and tormented in some unknown disaster, these once medically useful soles now provide nothing but horrendous discomfort (and a complete lack of arch support) for anyone who wears them.

Randomly when using a smoky pack
You slip the tormented soles into your shoes, and an immediate crippling pain shoots up from your arches all the way to your back. A slow, shuffling limp is all you can manage, but at least you have plenty of time to recuperate while you're moving so slowly. You gain an effect: Old Man Walking. (Added for 120 minutes.)
