Plural: jars of datamite
No, this isn't a data mite. It's datamite, a strange paste that data mites spread on your circuit boards before they eat them. Which is crazy, of course. Everyone knows you're supposed to eat circuit boards with peanut butter.

You taste the datamite. It's... pretty good, actually, but intense. There's no way you're ever going to finish the whole jar. (not consumed)
Against data mite
The jar of datamite hits the data mite squarely and shatters. As it turns out, data mites love their datamite.
It stops trying to kill you and starts eating everything the datamite splattered instead. You slip away while it's occupied. (ends combat without costing time)
