Go back to Sidekick/companionWind warrior
How Obtained
Sidekick/companion obtained from skill/item.
Skill: Wind Warrior
Skill item: warrior hologram
Duration: 30 min.
Behavior
Ability: Can attack certain foes.
Messages
- Your wind warrior charges your opponent and convincingly lands a blow, doing X damage.
- You send the warrior at the foe, but your opponent dodges swiftly.
- Your opponent doesn't have a mind that you can work with, so the warrior does nothing.
Dismissal Message: You decide you're better off without a sidekick and shoo yours away.
Notes
- Hit chance is 48.7 ± 2.1%.
- X is 5-7 + S, where S is the number of skill points invested in the skill Wind Warrior.
- The third message occurs against Robots without Electronic Understanding.
- Even with Electronic Understanding, it does less damage to Robots:
- Electronic Robots take 50% + 5*T% of the original damage, where T is the number of skill points invested in Electronic Understanding.
- Positronic Robots take 10% + T% of the original damage.
- Prior to the sidekick/companion split, X was 3-5 + S + round(level/3).
- Prior to the introduction of skill points, X was 3-5 + ceil(level/3).
References
- Refers to the "Wind Warrior" spell from the 1985 version of the video game The Bard's Tale. The image is a "Berserker" enemy from said game.
