Goose Blaine

You are fighting Goose Blaine.

Goose is well-known among the Twilight elite families. Wealthy, a big spender, a big gambler, a playboy. He also leads a double life as the nefarious High Roller, responsible for a series of casino break-ins. You didn't know this until just now, when an unlikely shadow crossed his face and exactly mimicked the outline of his trademark double-dice mask. Also, you know, the voice, hair, and facial profile look basically the same, and the suit he's wearing can't really hide his unusually athletic bulk. Plus the double-dice keychain he's fondling like a talisman is identical to the High Roller's.

Also, he's apparently recognized you and decided to attack, even out of uniform.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • Goose challenges you to a game of rock-paper-scissors. Even without his usual luck, he still leaves you shaken.
  • Goose goes for the left hook. You duck under the blow and start a quip about "luck finally running out" before he catches you with the right.
  • Goose gives you the old double-finger poke. Ow! Right in the snake eyes!

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • Goose challenges you to a game of baccarat, but you wisely decline. What is this, the Casino with Cheese?
  • Goose goes for the left hook, but you duck and finally get to use that "luck is finally running out" quip you've been saving.
  • Goose tries to give you the old double-finger poke, but rolls snake eyes.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
