peacekeeping baton
Plural: peacekeeping batons
This is one of those military/police thumping sticks, with the other stick sticking out of it so that you can stick your hand on it and then stick it to a bunch of rioters, hippies, or other ne'er-do-wells by spinning the rod quickly and thumping them soundly in their vulnerable spots. It provides +2 damage against vagrants, drifters, and rioters. And everyone else, too.
