This guy is both shifty and menacing, so he's got one up on the regular thugs.
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- The thug throws his knife at you. It misses, but while you're watching it go by he catches you with a swift kick.
- He sticks you with his knife. You squeal like a stuck hero, which as it turns out sounds an awful lot like a stuck pig.
- He punches you with his gloved fist. The gloves keep him from skinning his knuckles, but they provide no such service for your face.
He hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- He throws his knife at you. It misses, and he has to go pick it up.
- He menaces you with his knife. "That's not a knife," you say, lying through your teeth. The look of confusion on his face is priceless.
- The thug jabs at you with his knife, but you disarm him with one well-timed kick. You wait patiently while he scrambles after his weapon.
Fumble messages:
