scrapped Elijah bot
Plural: scrapped Elijah bots
This is an old Elijah bot, a second-generation computer therapist tool. Significantly more advanced than the original Eliza system, it still had a tendency to assume everything you wanted to talk about involved your family hating you.

The humanoid shape was supposed to make conversations feel more natural, but unfortunately technology put Elijah right in the middle of the uncanny valley, so it just made things worse.

This particular bot is rusted and appears to have had key motors taken out of it.
