That combat chance should be reasonably easy to verify.  If it's 80% (or higher), you should be able to completely eliminate non-combats through modifiers.  Also, with careful use of skills and skill points, you could probably manage +19% combats exactly to see if it's 80% or 81%.  Although, I would guess Ryme would have been more likely to put it at 80 than 81 (not insider hinting here, just speculation). Revision as of 22:19, 4 February 2013

I changed the Colossal ant to the giant, seeing as the Colossal ant doesn't exist anymore. I also moved it to be under the mutant fire ant for aesthetics sake. Hope everyone's cool with that.

Data

giant (17) 2 cshield / 2 cman
Gila monstrosity (24) 3 sinew x1
oversize rattlesnake (30) 4 sinew x1 / 1 sinew x2
studio executive (17) 4 mojo
tarantula gargantua (34) 10 sand x1 / 4 sand x2
cyclopean scorpion (22) 1 cshield
mutant fire ant (31) 5 bladder / 1 cshield / 1 cman

Shackin' Up (29) (105-169 chips)
Do One Good Deed Every Five Minutes (23) 60-70 XP

227 turns

More data

Borrowing the format above:

cyclopean scorpion (702) (10.7% ± 0.8%)
giant (779) (11.9% ± 0.8%)
Gila monstrosity (774) (11.8% ± 0.8%)
mutant fire ant (700) (10.7% ± 0.8%)
oversize rattlesnake (772) (11.8% ± 0.8%)
studio executive (775) (11.8% ± 0.8%)
tarantula gargantua (748) (11.4% ± 0.8%)

Shackin' Up (668) (10.2% ± 0.7%)
Do One Good Deed Every Five Minutes (638) (9.7% ± 0.7%)

6559 adventures

Rolled Doll (43) (22.4% ± 6%)
the Arachnid Prince (46) (24% ± 6.2%)
wandering villains (103) (53.6% ± 7.2%)

6751 adventures

Combat chances are (80.7% ± 1%).
If all adventures had the same chances, it would be 1/9=11.1%. Combat adventures all have ranges with this value, but noncombats don't even though they get very close. Since one of the noncombats can be suppressed, I'd only be certain they're not all equal if data with only 1 noncombat also arrived at similar conclusions, so I'm leaving these in the talk page.
Villain data will be analyzed in the villain category talk page. Patojonas 08:07, 4 February 2013 (PST)
