I, pretender. You, target

You are fighting I, pretender. You, target.

It turns out, with sufficiently advanced cybernetics, "the queen is dead, long live the queen" might have a totally different meaning than the one you're used to.

Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • He calls you an unclean heretic, and tries to cleanse you. (fire) damage
  • He pretends to be your sidekick and uses the distraction to attack!
  • He imposters you right in the head. In this case, "imposter" is slang for "kicks".

He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • He tries to cleanse you with fire, but you point out that you took a shower earlier.
  • He pretends to be your companion, but he picks the dummy.
