This is pretty round-about and esoteric, but I wouldn't be surprised if Ryme thought this way:

There's a movie called Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. Given that Illuminum deals with electricity, and both the boots and the movie deal with dancing, I wouldn't be surprised if he meant this as a reference to that as well.

I think you are at the right direction, but going too far. Electric Boogaloo is a style of popping dance, and popping is also mentioned in the desc. I don't see why it must do with the movie, rather than simply the dance style. The mambo line is due to the original 1960's Boogaloo dance, which is closely related. --Muhandes 14:21, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
