Don't Mess with Twilight

The intersection is empty when you arrive. You stand at the stop light for a moment, looking for any sign of trouble. While you wait a shiny black SUV with heavily tinted windows pulls up to the light. A window slides down as the vehicle comes to a reluctant stop. At first you think maybe someone in the car wants to talk to you, but no, instead a hand extends from the window and drops a half-full styrofoam cup onto the curb at your feet. Leftover strawberry milkshake splats onto the sidewalk as the car rolls around the corner.
Disgusted at the littering, you scoop up the cup, still maybe a third full with milkshake, and hurl forcefully back into the car just before the window can roll back up. There's a satisfying pink splat as the remaining shake explodes all over the inside of the windshield. The car's driver slams on the brakes, but you've already disappeared into the shadows, smiling contentedly to yourself.
