Some weapons are more lethal than others. In theory, as a superhero, you should always opt for non-lethal means, but rubber bullets aren't cool. Now a high-powered cannon that sprays super-concentrated capsicum is pretty darn cool. Or hot. I guess it depends on which side you're on.
