Why are we calling these "Semi-rares" rather than just "rares"? On KoL the reason is that they aren't really rare, but this isn't KoL.--Muhandes 17:13, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Eh. I believe Ryme first called them semi-rares. I suppose rare makes more sense. Cristiona

Are we sure it's SR? Maybe I don't get it every run, but definitely way often then others mentioned here. Personal record is 3 times within 50 turns. --Shikao 03:40, 29 December 2010 (PST)

I think someone(*might* have been Cris, sorry can't remember too well) said the first occurance per run is a normal NC, while it's the others that are SRS. Anyway - I used to get this a lot in the past, but in the last runs, I haven't. Maybe it's because SR adventures might not be affected by +/- combat, and I spend way less time in the area with +noncombat? Kurg 05:33, 29 December 2010 (PST)

When I wrote it, I wrote it as a semi-rare. I don't know anything about increased chances the first time. Cristiona
