This zone and all the elements contained therein may be a reference to Sesame Street. The titles of encounters such as "Boogie monster" and the adventure "Thirty-Six Boxes, Ha Ha Ha!" are all references to the Cookie Monster and Count von Count, characters from Sesame Street, while the Giant Avian may be a reference to Big Bird, yet another character from said franchise.

Also more compelling is the fact that the image placeholder for Teeter Street resembles part of the set for the television programme (see this image here).
