ghostly tyrannosaurus

You unilaterally decide your foe needs a slick new look and pull them into a whirlwind costume montage.

And... magnifique!

As a rule, the older a ghost is, the more dangerous you can expect it to be. And it goes without saying you don't tangle with a tyrannosaurus rex. That's just obvious.

So, it stands to reason that a ghost tyrannosaurus would be the most dangerous thing ever. A villain wearing a T. rex bedspread is substantially less dangerous, but that's still pretty dangerous.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • Have you ever wondered what a predatory roar and a mournful wail sound like at the same time? Well, now you know. Sort of like a jet taking off, if you're curious. (sonic) damage
  • The tyrannosaurus swallows you whole! Thankfully, it's also a ghost, so you just fall out covered in ectoplasm. (ice) damage
  • The T. rex runs you over like a freight train, assuming a freight train has two giant clawed feet and weighs in at something close to seven tons. Which, when I run the world, they will.

She hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! She hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • Have you ever wondered what a predatory roar and a mournful wail sound like at the same time? Well, too bad, the lizard king isn't here to entertain you.
  • The tyrannosaurus bites at you, but you ain't afraid of no ghost. Which is to say that you're rightly terrified of the ghost and manage to dodge. Good job.
  • The T. rex tries to run you over, but the cup of water early warning system you've been carrying around for years finally pays off!

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! She takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

You gain (8*Level, cap 400) experience.

How to Encounter

  • Using Disguise Foe skill on foes whose name starts with G or T.

Notes

  • Foes's stats and drops will be replaced by those of the disguised form.
  • Using ionic tonic doesn't change the resulting disguise, and the resulting foe keeps the ionic in the name as well as the electrical weakness.
  • Foes that can't be replicated also can't be disguised with the exception of:
Scaling foes;
Foes from The streets of Somerset;
footpath footpad and ghost of X;
