Master Zyx

You unilaterally decide your foe needs a slick new look and pull them into a whirlwind costume montage.

And... magnifique!

It's said that in ancient times, a costume wardrobe was created that was so vast it needed to be endowed with an unnatural intellect so that it could choose an appropriate costume for any wearer.

In slightly more recent times, it passed that wisdom on in the form of the great Costunomicon of Zyx. And now, coming back full circle, you stand before the wardrobe itself, the hidden Master Zyx.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • The wardrobe's doors open. You wander in and have a fantastic adventure, only to be hit by a moral like an anvil at the end. Literally like an anvil.
  • Zyx whips up a costume perfectly suited to prey on your fears. The neckline is also a little too tight, so it's hard to breathe, but you're not sure if that's part of the fears. damage+ (psychic) damage
  • The wardrobe doors fly open, pelting you with ancient perfumes that seem to have gone terribly wrong. damage+ (acid) damage

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • The wardrobe's doors open. You wander in and have a fantastic adventure, only to be hit by a moral like an anvil at the end. Literally like an anvil... and by "literally," I, of course, mean "figuratively."
  • Zyx whips up a costume perfectly suited to prey on your fears... from when you were seven. Now it's just kind of adorable.
  • The wardrobe doors fly open, pelting you with ancient perfumes that make you smell like your great-great-grandmother.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

You gain (8*Level, cap 400) experience.

How to Encounter

  • Using Disguise Foe skill on foes whose name starts with M or Z, after disguising each of the other disguised foes in alphabetical order from A to L.

Notes

  • Foes's stats and drops will be replaced by those of the disguised form.
  • The 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th drops are loosely based on how much +X% item drops you have, look here for details.
  • Using ionic tonic doesn't change the resulting disguise, and the resulting foe keeps the ionic in the name as well as the electrical weakness.
  • Foes that can't be replicated also can't be disguised with the exception of:
Scaling foes;
Foes from The streets of Somerset;
footpath footpad and ghost of X;
