Menacing zombie
menacing zombie |
---|
You unilaterally decide your foe needs a slick new look and pull them into a whirlwind costume montage.
And... magnifique!
This is a guy with a little blood on him, more interested in going to the mall than spreading like a virulent plague over the surface of the earth. Really, the only similarity between him and a real zombie is that one makes you frightened of brain eaters and the other makes you frightened for brain eaters.
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:

- The zombie purchases a bag of components from the nearest mall and constructs an impromptu flamethrower. Despite what it says, you're fairly sure turnabout isn't fair play. (fire) damage
- The zombie clutches at you with its icy fingers. damage+ (ice) damage
It hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- The zombie shambles into you ineffectively.
- The zombie purchases a bag of candy from the nearest mall and looks totally confused when you ask what it's for. He seems to have forgotten you were fighting again. Jerk.
- The zombie clutches at you with its icy fingers. Which, actually, are about room temperature, now that you think about it.

Your foe fumbles! It takes X damage.

How to Encounter
- Using Disguise Foe skill on foes whose name starts with M or Z.
Notes
- Foes's stats and drops will be replaced by those of the disguised form.
- Using ionic tonic doesn't change the resulting disguise, and the resulting foe keeps the ionic in the name as well as the electrical weakness.
- Foes that can't be replicated also can't be disguised with the exception of:
- Scaling foes;
- Foes from The streets of Somerset;
- footpath footpad and ghost of X;
References
- Refers to the video game Dead Rising, in which the protagonist fights zombies in a shopping mall with various improvised weapons.
