Level 15 psion, I think all I've gotten is Strength from this. Probably should see if there's something that determines what you get.

Strength: 198 (230)

Intellect: 129 (127)

Reflexes: 91 (89)

  • As a Level 12 through 16 Psion, I also only ever got Strength. Mana Yachanichu 06:50, 10 February 2011 (PST)

As an Elemental at level <= 12, I always got Reflexes. Kurg 10:37, 10 February 2011 (PST)

Level 30 Naturalist and I consistently get XP. Nommy 6:54, 11 Februrary 2011 (PST)

Based on the line in the description: "The sensei takes careful measure of your getup and stance, and then approaches with appropriate countermeasures. ", does it depend on what you have equipped? As a Level 30 Naturalist, I've gotten both Intellect and XP, with different equipment. The Leopard

It might be related to your stat modifiers, or maybe just your highest buffed stat. I once adventured in the Blvd and got +Strength every time. Then when I gained an extra level and started casting Aura:Mystery, I got +Intellect every time. Sanjuro 14:47, 9 June 2011 (PDT)

In general, I find that if I have a number one fan equipped, I get Intellect. Otherwise, XP. (P.S. Int is my highest unbuffed stat) -The Leopard

I just got Strength. The only notable difference is that I had a saw glove equipped as a weapon. Offhand: Rolled Doll dahl -The Leopard

I've been doing a little more experimentation. When I had a fall's staff equipped, I got Intellect. With badger gauntlets equipped (as a Naturalist), I got Strength. Hypotheses: +Melee damage = Strength. +Spell damage = Int. I'm not sure what raises Reflexes, yet. I've tried it with an iolite ion stone, and onyx ion stone, and gotten XP both times, so I'm guessing it's not "dodging" or "to-hit". -The Leopard

I would guess that if +melee damage is strength and spell damage is int, then +ranged damage = reflexes. LeaChim 12:13, 17 June 2011 (PDT)

I think that's it. I just tried it with a your little friend equipped and got Reflexes.

If that's indeed it, we should put it in the article, with the proper formatting. So basically it's...

if spell damage is highest modifier intellect, if melee damage is, strength, if ranged damage, reflexes, if there are no appropiate modifiers(or..if they are the same, I guess?), XP? Kurg 07:28, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

I've added the relevant modifiers to the page and some notes for circumstances I thought to check. The only caveat I have is that the experience scales down much like on Teeter St. Exactly how it behaves is on the list but will no doubt take a fair amount of time to get that reconciled. --Valmo 23:32, 6 November 2011 (PST)
