This guide is about gaining permanent stats, HP and PP.

Stats
The major way of gaining stats is leveling up. Whenever you gain a level 15 point are distributed between the three stats, Strength, Intellect, and Reflexes. The method of distribution seems to be that each of the 15 points is assigned to the three stats based on class-dependent probabilities, which are given in the table below:

Items that give permanent stats:
- gray sand : 5 to either strength, intellect or reflexes when used.
- scarlet powder : 3 strength when used.
- shamrock powder : 3 intellect when used.
- smalt powder : 3 reflexes when used.
- Virtual Reality helmet : occasionally gain 1 to strength, intellect or reflexes after an adventure, when equipped.
- Mummers' gloves : occasionally gain 1 to strength, intellect or reflexes after an adventure, when equipped.
Adventures that give permanent stats:
- Not to Choose Is Not a Choice : 5 to either strength, intellect or reflexes. Can be encountered a total of four times.
- A Funny Room : 5 reflexes if you pass the test. One time only.
- The Second Funny Room : 5 intellect if you pass the test. One time only.
- The Third Funny Room : 5 strength if you pass the test. One time only.
- A Mighty Wind Cave : 10 strength. One time only.
- Interdimensional Olympic Bouldering : 10 reflexes. One time only.
- All Two Million Alike : 10 intellect. One time only.
- A Septic Scandal : 1 strength.
- Too Much Saw Rueage : 1 intellect.
- Shall We Play A Game? : 1 to either strength, intellect or reflexes.
- Fra... Gee... Lee...? : 1 to either strength, intellect or reflexes.
- Retry, Retry Again (Psion), Retry, Retry Again (Elemental) : 1 intellect, sometimes.
- Retry, Retry Again (Gadgeteer) : 1 reflexes, sometimes.
- Retry, Retry Again (Naturalist) : 1 strength, sometimes.
HP
The major way of gaining HP is leveling up. Each time you level up you gain an amount of HP based on your class:
