Vlad's Decryptonomicon software
Plural: bits of Vlad's Decryptonomicon software
The picture on the cover of this box shows some sort of undead creature leaving a graveyard. The implication being, I suppose, that the software is good for de-crypting things. In a most painful (and pun-ful) fashion. Or they're marketing themselves to the undead. Hard to say, really.
Miscellaneous Item
Autosell value: 15
Usable
Breaks codes to transform items
(Requires Computer)
How Obtained
When Used
If you don't have a computer:
You don't have a computer set up to run this software. You might want to check out the electronics shop by the University.
If you don't have it installed:
You pop in the CD and install the software. It's now available at your Computer Lab.
If you already have it installed:
You already have a copy of this software installed. One should be plenty.
Notes
- Using the software and running it on a computer enables decrypting some items in your Computer Lab.
- Prior to the June 19, 2014, this was only software that could be run on both computers.
Although this item has a proper auto-sell value, it cannot be recyclonized, digitized, fed to the goats, or deplicated. |
References
- "Decryptonomicon" is a reference to Necronomicon, a fictional book appearing works by H. P. Lovecraft. It might also refer to Cryptonomicon, a novel by Neal Stephenson.
- The description refers to Vlad III the Impaler, who inspired the legend of Dracula.
