Cyber punk |
---|
You are fighting a Cyber punk.
In the rancid days of ruin, his body's sweating toxins of his own demise. When the night comes, he gets deranged by some strange alchemy. There's nothing pure in this world and ... wait, let me start over. It's a nice day to start again, right?
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- He says, "Welcome to my mind," and then he goes psyko-sonik on you. He starts his teknojihad by delivering a serious shock on the wire that lays you flat. Down on the ground, you realize you should have read more William Gibson.
- It's the age of destruction in a world of corruption. It's the age of destruction and he hands you oblivion. Oblivion, as it turns out, involves more pain and less numbness than you would have expected.
- He delivers a shock to your system. It feels good, well all right. No, actually, it doesn't feel good at all. Yeah.
He hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- He's in his head, man. He's off in a wasteland. You try reaching through the madness to the other side, but he just looks at you and asks, "Mony?" Apparently he thinks you're someone else.
- He's the neuromancer, and he's trancing. Trancing. Trancing. And he's trancing. He seems to be stuck in that trance.
- Night is all around him; stars are in his hair. He's entangled in the secrets that he's found hidden there. He struggles vigorously but fails to get untangled.
Fumble messages:
Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.
Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
You gain 35 experience.
You got an item: smart juice (9.4 ± 2.2%)
You got an item: digital voice recorder (10.3 ± 2.3%)
