maybe just a mark on the map saying you could get here with your absurd range but nothing interesting going on so don't bother.... nah, if there were anything it'd be the +1 [[User:The Gannet|The Gannet]]

:"Infinity" is just the displayed range, much like the clever names on some items (eg: the climate controlled cockpit on the [[VHF-1 Fighter]] is really just PP regen).  There's an actual range on the clock; there's just no zones coded for beyond that number.  And no, getting +2 with a range 5 vehicle won't be sufficient range to get you to clock zones. Aerodynamic Vehicle

A more aerodynamic vehicle can travel farther, though not necessarily any faster. Yeah, you can even make a horse or skateboard more aerodynamic. Anything but your own two feet.

Extended vehicle range, at the cost of turn length (reduced with skill points)

Noncombat Skill Cost: 12 PP The Gannet 14:42, 28 May 2011 (PDT)

use message: You apply some speed fins and mechanized racing stripes to your vehicle, increasing its aerodynamic properties to improve its range. (Added for 30 minutes.)

costs 12pp

...wonder if it stacks with the sidekick? The Gannet before casting: 4.42 minutes/turn. nothing equiped to decrease time, have heroic efficiency. level 11 using jetpack after: with 0 sp in it 4.92 minutes a turn ...so thats +50 seconds to turn length with 0sp The Gannet

Quoth the game manual:

Equation: +1 vehicle range; +30 - (3X) seconds turn length

Max: +1 vehicle range, no effect on turn length

Cristiona

So 30 max turn increase? must have misread my time, sorry lol The Gannet

Somewhat disappointingly, achieving a range of infinity plus one does not do anything funny.--Dogberry Really? Oh well. sounded like something a badge might have been for...then again too easy I guess lol.

For what it's worth, this does stack with the Mechanic permakick, meaning that when using both, a Range 3 vehicle will allow access to the mountains. This will also allow certain handy tricks, such as using Red Hex in NCI. Cristiona

Does infinity +2 do anything? lol maybe just a mark on the map saying you could get here with your absurd range but nothing interesting going on so don't bother.... nah, if there were anything it'd be the +1 The Gannet
