Frooooooogs iiiiiiiin spaaaaaaaaaace! Ahem. A moon beast is a huge, frog-like critter, glistening like it had been coated in oil. It lurches towards you with a hideous gurgling sound. Yes, in space nobody can hear you scream, but you can hear them gurgle. That's just how it works.
