Somber's Fedora
Plural: Somber's imaginary hats
According to some historians, Somber was Twilight's first hero. Long before the golden era brought superheroes with flashy costumes and flashy powers, Somber was just a vigilante who dressed like he belonged on the set of El Dorado. He tended to work quickly and efficiently when it came to handling the scum and villainy of Somerset. It has become popular in modern times to claim his powers were just tricks and that he didn't actually possess a talisman, but this is still an unpopular view.
This fedora is actually the oddest thing about Somber. Few photographs were ever taken of him, and none of them ever show him wearing any kind of hat. For some reason, the media at the time preferred to think of him as wearing a hat (perhaps inspired by radio serials of the day), and every sketch and drawing of him includes the hat. Of course, considering the power of myth, it's not surprising that this fedora has absorbed some of his legendary powers.
