You never realized before that these things could be lost literally as well as metaphorically. How could that happen, anyway? Do they just fall out sometimes if you're not paying attention, or is it some kind of astral projection gone wrong? Or was this one sold for some sort of financial gain and then simply misplaced by the new owner? For that matter, maybe this is a new soul that was on its way to its first body, and it missed because of a bad sense of direction?

You pick up the lost soul, trying to figure out what you could do with it. In a strange, creepy fashion it sinks quickly into your flesh. Hey! You've already got a soul in there! Your body twitches for a moment as it makes space for another bit of spiritual essence and a strange voice enters your head with a friendly "Hi there!" You're sure that given enough time you'll be able to convince this soul to leave, but in the meantime you're going to have to learn to cooperate. You get an effect, Tangled Up in Two. (Added for 60 minutes.)

Using multiple: Same as single use

When Returned through [return to owner]

You find <player> and hand over the lost soul. <player> is overjoyed to have it back. You buff <player> with Tangled Up in Two.

You feel really good about giving back that lost item. The smile on <player>'s face just made your day. It gives you a nice, warm feeling. You get an effect, Toasty Heart. (Added for 30 minutes.)

Trying to return the item to yourself:
You start to return this lost item to yourself, but then you realize: this is not your beautiful house, this is not your beautiful lost item. By definition, if it's in your possession and it's lost, then it can't belong to you. Thus you can't return it to yourself, or it wouldn't be lost. Ergo, lost items must be returned to other people, who, by definition, are the only ones for whom this lost item might become found. Comprende?

Effect on Receiver:

<sender> has buffed you with Tangled Up in Two.
They return your lost soul. You get an effect, Tangled Up in Two. (Added for 60 minutes.)
You're pleased someone would return your lost belongings instead of selling it on eBay. Your whole heart feels full and warm: ventricles, atria, cockles, and all. (Added for 15 minutes.)

Gives effect: Toasty Heart
