Ursula's plush horde

You are fighting Ursula's plush horde.

Behind her wall of minions, the mastermind behind this plush army carries a Kringle-sized sack of evil toys to terrify a generation of children into submission... or whatever her plan actually is, you're not sure about the details after "army of evil toys." But any plan that starts like that isn't going to end well.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • Back in the day, there were far less safety regulations. She provides a convincing argument for less inflammable plush toy stuffing. X (fire) damage
  • She fashions a plush garotte and strangles you with it.
  • One of Ursula's plushes pops out of nowhere and makes you jump. It's not so much the fear that gets you as the embarrassment of jumping like that. X (psychic) damage

She hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! She hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • She argues for less inflammable plush toy stuffing, but you can't quite make out what that means.
  • She fashions a plush garotte and tries to strangle you with it, but it's far too soft.
  • One of Ursula's plushes pops out of nowhere, but your reflect reactions are less "jumping and embarrassing yourself" and more "punching animatronics in their stupid smiling faces." Unlike at all those childrens' birthday parties, the reflex serves you well here.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! She takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!

You gain 500 experience.

You got an item: ancient quarter chip Ancientquarterchip.gif (Guaranteed Drop)
You got an item: primordial stuffing Primordialstuffing.gif (Guaranteed Drop)
You got an item: Ursula's fleece Ursulasfleece.gif (Guaranteed Drop)

You defeat Ursula before she can escape with her plush jetpack. It hisses and puffs up, leaking wisps of stuffing.

You know what is going to happen next, so you turn your back and walk away from the explosion. Yeah, that probably looked awesome... but you don't actually know because you're facing away.

When you turn back, the toy factory is just beginning production. Man, time travel is weird.

Known resistances/weaknesses

25% weak to fire damage.

Notes

  • Ursula will escape after the 2nd round if you don't have a source of flying ability. Here's how it works:
Round 0: Ursula seems to be in the last stages of patching her plush jetpack, leaving you scant moments to catch her before the bears get here.
Round 1: Ursula finishes repairs on her plush jetpack.
Round 2, no flying: Ursula takes off with her plush jetpack, leaving you to fight one of her plush bodyguards. (change to a fight with a giant bodyguard bear)
Round 2, with flying: Ursula takes off with her plush jetpack. You manage to keep up with her, but see her bodyguards down below ready a plush surface-to-air missile. Oh come on!
Round 3: One of Ursula's bodyguards catches you with a plush surface-to-air missile for Y (fire) damage.
Round 4 and after: The plushes on the ground catch you with a barrage of surface-to-air missiles for Y (fire) damage.
