Using 16:
You break out the old knitting needles and whip yourself up a quick sweater. What can I say? Superknitting is one of your many underappreciated talents.
You got an item: string sweater Richard H-G 01:22, 29 September 2012 (PDT)

Effects
Sometimes, but not always, when computer software activates:
Your computer kicks back a bunch of gibberish code with all sorts of semicolons and those crazy '$' things that you get on antique keyboards. And by "kicks out," I mean "ejects into physical space." Your computer is not messing around.
You got an item: string of bad code
Maybe that gibberish was from extraterrestrials, because it seems to have earned you X points with the S.U.I.T. data farmers. |
or
On the bright side, it seems like everyone else's computer is doing even worse. Since last you checked, you earned X "chips" on the Astral Stock Exchange. |
The messages seem to be independent of each other. I've gotten the string on the SUIT without getting it on the ASX, and vice versa. (Haven't yet gotten it on both, but likely possible.) Probably more messages to be found with other software, but I don't really feel like switching mine.... (Yeah, I'm a lazy non-spader.)--hoyifung04 21:17, 26 September 2012 (PDT)
Got these, preceded with the same kick back message hoy posted:
It also just deleted a bunch of appointments, which isn't awesome, but does save you 45 seconds. |
It also just deleted all your shopping lists for the week. You seem to miss something putting them back together, because you save 30 chips. |
After the fight you catch an especially funny video clip. It's even funnier glitched like this, with a fuzzy backwards L replacing the cat. You have a good laugh, earning you an additional 15 XP. |

Positronic computer, iMyself blog software:
The corrupted video from the fight gives you some really good ideas, though, earning you an additional 15 XP. |

Random note
It's possible to get two in one turn:
You gain 258 experience.

Impeded Interaction
Just checked with one alt, and with the same number of turns spent as my main, wearing a string necklace, I got 5 bad codes (my main got 6) and lass computer triggers as expected. It seems the amount of bad codes that drop isn't affected. Also, the first turns of the day seem to be the ones where most codes drop. Patojonas 09:08, 1 October 2012 (PDT)
