It seems that equipping the Night Mare as transportation is also sufficient to trigger the quest. I'd put my money on pegasi, armored pegasi, Red Hex and the "horse" item doing something as well. --Penguinpyro 23:53, 3 February 2012 (PST)
One of my alts, Okarin, already completed the quest and the only means of transportation I have are the minivan and the invisible jet. --Patojonas 08:06, 4 February 2012 (PST)
