evil rainbow

You unilaterally decide your foe needs a slick new look and pull them into a whirlwind costume montage.

And... magnifique!

Now, if there's anything that decades of anti-heroes have taught us it's that dark doesn't necessarily mean evil. This villain is living proof of the corollary: being dressed up like a rainbow doesn't necessarily make you good.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • The rainbow shows you the other seven colors. (psychic) damage
  • The rainbow reverses the process of its birth, focusing down into one tiny point... except it's on your face rather than in a raindrop. Now you know how all those ants felt. (fire) damage
  • You look for the pot of chips at the end of the rainbow, but it turns out there's a pit of acid instead. (acid) damage

He hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! He hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • The rainbow shows you the other seven colors, which will actually be really handy next time you need to paint your hideout.
  • The rainbow reverses the process of its birth, turning into rain on a sunny day. It's kind of refreshing.
  • You look for the pot of chips at the end of the rainbow, but it turns out they discontinued that program with the latest round of budget cuts.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! He takes X damage.

How to Encounter

  • Using Disguise Foe skill on foes whose name starts with E or R.

Notes

  • Foes's stats and drops will be replaced by those of the disguised form.
  • Using ionic tonic doesn't change the resulting disguise, and the resulting foe keeps the ionic in the name as well as the electrical weakness.
  • Foes that can't be replicated also can't be disguised with the exception of:
Scaling foes;
Foes from The streets of Somerset;
footpath footpad and ghost of X;
