impish villain

You unilaterally decide your foe needs a slick new look and pull them into a whirlwind costume montage.

And... magnifique!

Man, stick a little Mad Hatter top hat on anyone and suddenly they think they've got crazy magical powers. News flash, villains: crazy and crazy powers have nothing to do with each other.

Unfortunately, in this case, it appears to be a magical top hat and, sadly, not the kind that animates friendly snowmen.
Your opponent attacks ...

Hit messages:

  • The imp pulls a hamster out of his hat and throws it at your face.
  • He teleports five or six times, finally reappearing right in front of you and giving you a nasty case of hot foot. (fire) damage
  • The imp shows you dimensions beyond the understanding of heroes or even buckaroos. (psychic) damage

It hits you for X damage.

Critical hit message:

Your opponent has a critical hit! It hits you for X damage.

Miss messages:

  • The imp pulls a rabbit out of his hat, but it seems to be more of the "eating grass" kind of rabbit than the "eating knights" kind of rabbit.
  • He teleports five or six times in a row, cackling "you can only walk to Zyx backwards, step by step! Step by step!" Which is a little weird weird, but mostly just leaves the area smoky.
  • The imp shows you dimensions beyond the understanding of heroes, but you don't turn into a lizard person or anything, it's just really confusing.

Fumble messages:

Your foe fumbles! It takes X damage.

Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
