Vegetablemas and League Directory
League directory has been tagged for months now and no one complained. I wonder, is there any interest into revamping the page as an advertizing board for current league recruiting? Just an idea.
About vegetablemas, well, already discussed a bit in it's talk page, anyone opposing deletion? Patojonas 14:17, 4 August 2013 (PDT)
- I vote for the deletion of the League Directory page. Revamp is also fine with me, though I'd suggest Leagues use a separate page (linked to the directory) for advertising. (Of course, the question would be how to keep the ordering fair....)
With regards to Vegetablemas, I've said I'll wait another week or so for more discussion. --hoyifung04 (talk) 14:29, 4 August 2013 (PDT)
concerning Wiki Users
the reason why i put it up is because its getting harder and harder to find contributers to the wiki, without finding one of their works. with this page in place people can quickly find the User they are looking for without having to go through several pages/steps.--Reaper 00:12, 22 February 2008 (MST)
where could i put the page without it being completely hidden and unknown to new visitors. i feel like that is the right place for it.--Reaper 00:23, 22 February 2008 (MST)
- What's wrong with Special:Listusers? the tool maintains just such a list. --Flyboy 00 07:21, 22 February 2008 (MST)
- Special:Listusers does exactly what this page is supposed to do, and does it automatically. Delete.--SlightlyEvil 11:36, 22 February 2008 (MST)

concerning & or + in titles
I goofed up while trying to fix the minor problem with "Journals & Quests" in the Game Manual area, and created "Journal & Quests" and "Journal+Quests"" before I settled on a workable page title. Those two pages should be deleted, but I can't place the "delete" template on them because they're inaccessible once saved. They can be found by a search, and appear in Category lists, but if you try to navigate to them you get Journal instead. Big & tall shoreman has the same problem, but I didn't make it; I'll make "Big and tall shoreman" as a replacement. Anyway, "&" and "+" are apparently evil in titles; must be some difference from this wiki's software compared to Wikipedia. --Tarwix 13:32, 28 February 2008 (MST)
- A similar problem exists with "Journals & Quests" --Baltar 15:03, 23 March 2008 (MST)
- This was a problem I tried to fix soon after installing the software, but was unable to. I'll look into this again--Olaf 16:41, 23 March 2008 (MST)
- Ok, "+" and "&" now work. Use them how you please.--Olaf 18:11, 23 March 2008 (MST)
Concerning the deletion of the items page.
While yes, the other page does provide the same information, there is not a link to it on the main page, nor is there the ability to search by first letter. I found the other page inconvenient, being forced to scroll through several pages to find what I wanted. If you do delete this page, at least add the above features to the other one.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Charade539 (talk • contribs) 18:01, 2 April 2009.
- Category:Items does everything the Items by Name page does, and it populates automatically, as opposed to IbN, which needs to be updated by hand, every time an item is added. And nobody seems willing to update it. Cristiona
- It is still harder to navigate. Yes it has everything item-wise, but if you want to find something in the 'y's you would have to click 'next 200' four or five times. All I ask is that if you get rid of this page you add the search by first letter to the other page.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Charade539 (talk • contribs) 04:12, 1 April 2009.
- No you don't. There's 200 items per page, which means there's currently two pages. Cristiona

- I see your point, and I do prefer the items page myself over the item category. The main problem is that already every new item needs to be added to 3-4 places, and the process is too tedious so whenever possible I try to use auto-cats. That's the reason I stopped updating the items page, and without updating it, it's pretty useless. As for your request for an index, I don't know how to do that on a category page. Oh, and please sign your messages in the future. --Muhandes 21:40, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
