Talk:History of the Molasses Wars
Here's something about the (combat) skill: it marks the foe as "molassy", which has two effects. First, it makes it hard(er) to dodge attacks, for both you and the foe (I didn't pay attention to how much). Second, it will drop a molassy thing on defeat.
The first N casts, you get to control which drop you get by doing elemental damage. After that (or maybe it's a decreasing chance), you will only get raw molasses. N might increase with skillpoints, and with confusing molasses consumed.
Also, the first few casts will only summon "low", two-digit, amount of gallons of mollasses. Then you will get a message about begin a molasso maestro, and the amount summoned will start doubling with every cast. I have gotten up to something like (rounded) 2,000,000,000,000,000 gallons, which sounds like a lot, but it's only 3 chumulangmas.
(times are approximations from only about 3 uses, and those uses were with 100% purifier, so I am also accounting for that:)
normal attacks = molassy taffy, 2 sugar, around +25s
too many summons = raw molasses, 2 sugar, +18s
psychic = confused molasses, vegetable, "unlocks more molassy secrets"?
ice = molasses pop, 1 sugar, +12s, 60m of -1pp to skill costs
fire, acid? = caramilized molasses, 1 sugar, +!2s, 60m of +10% hp leech
sonic = molasses rock, 1 caffeine, +12s (but triggers purifier!), 60m +5% stun
electric = crackly molasses, 1 sugar, +12s, 60m +3 "electric charge on hit" (I don't know what that is)

The amount of molasses does have an impact on what drops. Cristiona (talk) 19:55, 9 October 2016 (PDT)
- When I did less damage than the gallons of molasses summoned, I got raw molasses. However, when damage > gallons, that yielded one of the other items. Also, I got a molasses tart after doing enough acid damage. Sanjuro (talk) 01:30, 15 October 2016 (PDT)
- aha, it works off the element that did the most damage in that fight.

acid = molasses tart, 1 sugar, presumably +12s and 60m of some effect --XKiv (talk) 18:16, 15 October 2016 (PDT)
