Virtual Lad's goggles
Plural: copies of Virtual Lad's goggles
Virtual Lad was another well known sidekick back in the Silver Age of Twilight. He had what was called "holo-graphical powers", whatever that meant. Honestly, as far as anyone can tell, it meant he ran around in a ridiculous costume full of then-high tech doodads and wizzbang gimcrackery.

Nobody really noticed when he retired to play VR games full time. But hey, these goggles were pretty swell.

They come bundled with a targeting suite, high-speed access to your computer, gaming uplinks, and a clock. Hey, they can't all be winners.
