ghostly tyrannosaurus |
---|
You are fighting a ghostly tyrannosaurus.
As a rule, the older a ghost is, the more dangerous you can expect it to be. And it goes without saying you don't tangle with a tyrannosaurus rex. That's just obvious.
So, it stands to reason that a ghost tyrannosaurus would be the most dangerous thing ever. A villain wearing a T. rex bedspread is substantially less dangerous, but that's still pretty dangerous.
Your opponent attacks ...
Hit messages:
- Have you ever wondered what a predatory roar and a mournful wail sound like at the same time? Well, now you know. Sort of like a jet taking off, if you're curious. (sonic) damage
- The tyrannosaurus swallows you whole! Thankfully, it's also a ghost, so you just fall out covered in ectoplasm. (ice) damage
- The T. rex runs you over like a freight train, assuming a freight train has two giant clawed feet and weighs in at something close to seven tons. Which, when I run the world, they will.
She hits you for X damage.
Critical hit message:
Your opponent has a critical hit! She hits you for X damage.
Miss messages:
- Have you ever wondered what a predatory roar and a mournful wail sound like at the same time? Well, too bad, the lizard king isn't here to entertain you.
- The tyrannosaurus bites at you, but you ain't afraid of no ghost. Which is to say that you're rightly terrified of the ghost and manage to dodge. Good job.
- The T. rex tries to run you over, but the cup of water early warning system you've been carrying around for years finally pays off!
Fumble messages:
Your foe fumbles! She takes X damage.
Victory! You beat up your foe and win the combat!
You gain some experience.
You got an item: prehistoric sheet (Guaranteed Drop)
Known resistances/weaknesses
Immune to physical damage.

Notes
- Foes that can be disguised into this:
- The XP is the same as the original encounter, no chips dropped though.
- The items dropped by the original foe will no longer drop.
References
- The third miss message references a scene from the movie Jurassic Park where a cup of water is seen resonating to the T. Rex's approaching footsteps.
