I finished the quest twice. Naturally, spoilers will abound in the following text.

SO. You need to put together at least five items from the Shiloh Zones. Each item has an input and an output. The first item you place will automatically have its input activated, and then it will apply its output to the second item you place. The second item needs the first output to match its input, then it will output its own thing, which needs to match the third item's input and so on, until it reaches the target.

Also, each item in the chain needs to be unique or else the golbergium will interfere.

REQUIRED INPUTS

  • Key way down- final output needs to be pull.
  • Key surrounded by rock candy- final output needs to be water.
  • ???- Final output needs to be sound
  • ???- Final output needs to be push
  • ???- Final output needs to be shoot
  • ???- Final output needs to be cut
  • ???- Final output needs to be crush
  • ???- Final output needs to be fire

Also, there are two boss fights at the end, and I basically blazed through those due to having several thousand HP. The second bossfight I suspect is immune to all damage unless you use Sanitarium-derived skills at a certain time, but I'm just guessing because I basically threw crap at it until it finally died. primordial ZOM

Wherever this glowing liquid came from, it's the source and inspiration for all of Doctor Zomadeus's creations. Which is really a little weird. Her inventions tend more towards the flesh and blood and steel and circuit.

But who are we to question genius?

had key in a jar, last item needs to be shoot. Used boxing glove gun > leaning tower > water main > lump of sodium > bottle rocket. Also, ZOMega was a pain in the rear. used arson thrower to combat sleep ray, then shooting shot after (was far away) not sure yet on other combos


A working combination for rock candy:

  • You throw a water balloon. It bursts, watering the sodium. It bursts into flames, heating the fire alarm. It howls at ear-splitting volume, startling the monkey. That chucks a banana, shooting the gong. It reverberates through the chamber, startling the elephant. It sprays water everywhere in surprise, watering the rock candy.   • You swing down the comically large mallet you found in the corner. That smashes, crushing the bag of matchheads. It bursts into flames, but it doesn't seem like you should be heating the brazier... more like pushing it.
  • You light a match. That lights, heating the bottle rocket. It zips off, but it doesn't seem like you should be shooting the hose... more like watering it.
  • You pull a string dangling from the contraption. It tugs, pulling the trigger. It extends the boxing glove, but it doesn't seem like you should be pushing the balloon... more like cutting it.

  • You throw a knife. It slices, cutting the balloon. It pops, but it doesn't seem like today is your day for the infinite balloon motion machine.
  • You pull a string dangling from the contraption. That tugs, pulling the trigger. It extends the boxing glove, but it doesn't seem like today is your day for the infinite trigger motion machine.
  • You throw a knife. That slices, cutting the balloon. It pops, startling the dog. It bites whatever's in front of it, cutting a lump of goldbergium that jumped in front of the second balloon. Drat.
    It didn't even hit the goldbergium hard enough to crack it.

It shoots out a cutting jet of water, cutting the balloon. That pops, startling the rhino. It charges forward recklessly, pushing the toggle. That pulls back, pulling the bottom of the mallet. That brings the hammer down, crushing the reinforced handle. That closes the scissors with great force, cutting the rope. It drops the anvil, crushing the water main. It releases a geyser of water, watering the water wheel. It reels in the pulley, pulling the trigger. That activates the blowtorch, heating the sprinkler. It sprays, watering the sodium. It bursts into flames, heating the fire alarm. That howls at ear-splitting volume, startling the monkey. That chucks a banana, shooting the switch. That hauls in with the winch, pulling the trigger. It fires the squirt gun, watering the toy boat. That floats downstream, pushing the rusty hinge. It shriek open, startling the dog. It bites whatever's in front of it, cutting the restraint. It fires the slingshot, shooting the gong. It reverberates through the chamber, startling the horse. It gets back to work hauling, pulling the trigger. That fires the cork, shooting the switch. It sends the knife buzzing to life, cutting the restraint. That releases the rolling stone, pushing the brazier. It spills out the coals, heating the bottle rocket. That zips off, shooting the mousetrap. That snaps shut with crushing force, crushing the totter side. It sends the marble flying, shooting the jar. That spills coals everywhere, heating the steam engine. It pushes the piston, pushing the tower. That sends it crashing down, crushing the bicycle horn\s bulb. It honks deafeningly, startling the fire ant. It spits fire, heating the steam engine. It reels in the pulley, pulling the chalk. That shrieks across the chalkboard, startling the gorilla. It pounds the nearest object with his hammer, crushing the basket. That gathers the rope in moments, pulling the hook. That slices, cutting the pouch. It bursts into flame on contact with air, heating the chainsaw. That spins up with a roar, cutting the rope. That reels in the pulley, pulling the trigger. It extends the boxing glove, pushing the bellows. It pops out the cork, shooting the mousetrap. That sends the car hurtling down the track, pushing the saw. It slices forward, cutting the water balloon. It splashes everwhere, watering the mill. It grinds, crushing the safe.

The safe bends, then shatters under the weight. The key shoots out towards you like it was fired from a cannon. You snatch it out of the air with your superhuman item collection abilities.
