Just a bit of data on the special attacks(Was level 12 when I got these values)

A long pair of crackling whips slide out of your suit's wrists, slashing at your foe for X (electric) damage. (X seemed to be 5-14 to me)

A tiny little laser pops out from the shoulder of your Vortex suit and carves your initials into your foe. It's really more annoying than painful. Great. (dunno what it does - probably affects foe toughness)

The back of your Vortex suit opens up, flipping up a pair of rocket launchers which fire about a million soda-can-shaped missiles at your foe, dealing X (fire) + Y(sonic) damage. (I got this twice, X=20 and Y=19 once, don't remember the other time but the sonic damage was higher than the fire)

Twin daggers pop out from your suit by the back of your wrists, and you slash quickly for X + Y damage. (I got 11 + 6, 12 + 10, 12 + 7, 12 + 8 and 11 + 7. Kurg 04:08, 2 June 2011 (PDT)

What I got at level 85:

Twin daggers pop out from your suit by the back of your wrists, and you slash quickly for (61 + 70 ; 75 + 52 ; 61 + 82 ; 61 + 52; 56 + 56; 56 + 46; 58 + 75; 67 + 48; 44 + 63; 71 + 80; 72 + 53; ) damage

A long pair of crackling whips slide out of your suit's wrists, slashing at your foe for (86 ; 86 ; 86; 42(fighting rosencrantz); 84; 87; 83; 86; 87 ) (electric) damage.

The back of your Vortex suit opens up, flipping up a pair of rocket launchers which fire about a million soda-can-shaped missiles at your foe, dealing (118 (fire) + w 94 (sonic)  ; 139 (fire) + w 98 (sonic) ) damage. (both against rosencrantz, wonder if he's weak to fire). Patojonas

While running on one of my alts I found a new hit message :

You strike a dramatic pose and shout out at the top of your lungs, "Gunnnnnnnnn BUSTER!" and claw at the front of your suit. A giant vortex of energy blasts out and hits your foe for 28 (fire) damage

Also, in 142 turns I had 40 special attacks, which is about 28%. Since a few of those turns had more than one round I'd say 25% may be the number we're looking for.

(for the record there were 10 lasers, 11 whips, 11 daggers, 7 soda cannon and 1 gun buster, the rarest so far) Patojonas

What I got at level 33 on my alt feathergod:

A tiny little laser pops out from the shoulder of your Vortex suit and carves your initials into your foe. It's really more annoying than painful. Great. (6 times)

Twin daggers pop out from your suit by the back of your wrists, and you slash quickly for (33 + 23; 31 + 21; 33 + 32; 24 + 27; 17 + 30; 21 + 29; 20 + 33; 26 + 30; 23 + 29; 20 + 24; 33 + 24; 18 + 18 ) damage

A long pair of crackling whips slide out of your suit's wrists, slashing at your foe for (46; 33; 35; 35; 34; 17(silver strangler); 15(silver); 35; 15(silver); 31; 52; 52; 46; 49; 49; 16(silver);49; 46; 31; 33; 31; 51; 34; 32; 17(silver); 51; 35 ) (electric) damage.

The back of your Vortex suit opens up, flipping up a pair of rocket launchers which fire about a million soda-can-shaped missiles at your foe, dealing (42 (fire) + 45 (sonic); 46 (fire) + 49 (sonic)  ; 63 (fire) + 23 (sonic)(Unborn OTTER); 40 (fire) + 48 (sonic); 60 (fire) + 55 (sonic); 38 (fire) + w 16 (sonic) damage(OTTER); 57 (fire) + 63 (sonic); 64 (fire) + 27 (sonic)(OTTER); 40 (fire) + 51 (sonic); 50 (fire) + 51 (sonic); 33 (fire) + 23 (sonic)(OTTER); 42 (fire) + 54 (sonic); 66 (fire) +90 (sonic); 64 (fire) + 49 (sonic); 40 (fire) + 41 (sonic); 41 (fire) + 33 (sonic) ) damage.

In a total of 183 turns played in the Inner Sanctum there were 61 special moves, placing the special attack chance exactly at 33.33%. There were 6 laser, 27 whips, 12 daggers , 16 soda and 0 gun busters, guess this last one is pretty rare. Also, I guess the elemental weaknesses on the sanctum should be spaded before trying to see how the damage scales.

I only listed the ones that stood out to me, Just the 1 Macross reference, the rest seemed to be Genesis Climber Mospaeda. I thought I saw a couple of BGC references too. RKBRumbelow

I wonder if the face on your opponent after you throw them across the room is a reference to the Garland (aka Bahamut) from Megazone 23 part II. I may be showing my anime watching age though in thinking so. RKBRumbelow
