What to report

  • Please add your level, class, reputation, location(s) where you fought, brief fighting pattern (melee, ranged, spells, etc), any notorious event that happened.
  • In case you did something related to any of the buffs the armament you got you can think off, (for instance, if you made a lot of chips from the foes and got fortune the next day) please let us know.
  • Lastly any peculiar thing you did or that you've noticed, reading previous entries for that armament might help you make a connection.

Suspected Triggers

Hammer: dreamer's clock zones? Most damage? Criticals?
Claw: Something to do with crits?(Doesn't require combat adventures) Gain a level? Average experience gain?
Frost: (confirmed) Selfish reputation.
Shadow: spent amount of time with noncombats Most Something to do with ranged damage?(Nats have gotten it)
Star: Most Do spell damage?
Fortune: Most Something to do with chips?
Wraith: (confirmed) Retcon the previous day.

Discussion

Hope the contributors don't mind but I've organized the entries by armament, this way it'll be easier to discover a pattern in my opinion. I duplicated entries concerning more than 1 armament only when both are yet to be figured out. Also, I deleted entries which only report receiving dates without any other background and left general discussion entries outside the specific armament sections. Patojonas 11:51, 30 May 2013 (PDT)

General talk

So, we should start spading the mechanism for receiving these items. I'm guessing that they are only given to active players (logged in during last 60 days), and only to those who can wear them (i.e. a level 3 is not going to receive anything stronger than Fortune), but these are on thoughts I had, with no proof. Oh, and yes, I've only gotten Frost. Five times. --hoyifung04 20:37, 2 August 2011 (PDT)

From what Cris has said, each item has certain triggers that, when met, gives a chance to obtain the weapon. Only one of each weapon is awarded, but it is possible none are given. No player can receive more than one Armament a day. --hoyifung04 20:58, 10 August 2011 (PDT)

I've talked to Ryme (or, rather, he talked to me), and he has said that you are not supposed to get AoD's back-to-back. --hoyifung04 08:04, 14 January 2012 (PST)

Anyway, one off my alts, Aewyre had Claw today and lost it after initiating retcon, guess they're not only lost at rollover ;) --Patojonas 11:11, 21 March 2012 (PDT)

We're counting the day as the day the rollover happens on, right? So even though there's only ~50 minutes of 7-10 left, this counts as being 7-10 and not 7-11? Just wanted to make sure... --Jesus 20:38, 10 July 2012 (PDT)

The dates are the day after, where the majority of the day takes place (e.g. at 23:15 EST (after roll) of 10 July, it would be considered 7-11). Changed it for you up there. --hoyifung04 06:49, 11 July 2012 (PDT)

I suspect the triggers are (somewhat) related to the enchantments on the weapons. Hammer: most melee damage inflicted? Claw: most critical hits? Frost: most ice damage inflicted? Shadow: most ranged damage inflicted? Star: most spell damage inflicted? Fortune: most chips chips collected? Wraith: (This is the one I'm least sure about) most levels gained? Sanjuro 00:54, 4 February 2013 (PST)

I'm fairly certain I've gotten Shadow without doing any ranged damage, and I thought Wraith's trigger was pretty much confirmed already. Sena (talk) 01:47, 4 February 2013 (PST)
Like Sena said wraith is pretty much certain. About the others, I'm pretty inclined to believe Hammer's trigger is having adventured in the dreamer's clock zones and that Frost has to do with having one of the three left column reputations in the reputation table in the previous day. The others are still a mystery however i think Fortune might be related to making money. Patojonas 03:34, 4 February 2013 (PST)

I added a summary of the suspect triggers to the top of the page. Feel free to add more theories or disproved theories to the list. I've confirmed that Frost is not related to ice damage from one of my alts before. --hoyifung04 (talk) 06:06, 4 February 2013 (PST)

It's not going to be "most" anything. The triggers are all things that multiple people could do on a given day. Like how Wraith is "retconed the day before" not "most recent retcon" or what have you. You'll note that Naturalists have gotten Shadow, so it's unlikely to be related to dealing ranged damage... Cristiona (talk) 22:15, 4 February 2013 (PST)
Updated the summary to strike out the "most". It looks confusing (even to me) right now, so I might just completely remove the word "most" later. --hoyifung04 (talk) 11:03, 5 February 2013 (PST)

One final, general, hint to keep everyone from focusing too much on (possibly) the wrong things. Take a look at Wraith's trigger: having retconed the day before. Nowhere in there does it say anything about any activity that involves turns. Some of the armaments are indeed related to spending turns, but some of the triggers can be... erm... triggered without spending a single adventure. Cristiona (talk) 20:27, 5 February 2013 (PST)

Hammer

I've gotten Hammer 3 times on my alt Lord Jareth, which I use to farm the Crypts. Wraith has come to my main twice since I started retconning again, both times on day 2 of a run. No weapons at all on my other alts. --Harry Dresden 08:19, 13 August 2011 (PDT)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... Cristiona

I got the Hammer on these dates: 2011-10-30 21:11:24

Gadgeteer, currently lvl160, no retcons --Fatquack 11:26, 31 October 2011 (PDT)

Two more times:
2011-11-12 21:11:21 and 2011-11-15 21:11:22
I only use the dreamer's clock and adventure in The Farthest Reaches of Insanity or The Ancient Crypts --Fatquack 04:20, 16 November 2011 (PST)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Cristiona

bmara got Hammer (level 30 weapon) on a day started at level 29. Guess you don't need to have the required level...either that or no one above 30 qualified to get it :P --Patojonas 15:59, 9 March 2012 (PST)

Got Hammer after adventuring in Sector 7-Gamma and the Fiendish Pit. I did about a metric a$$-ton of damage. Perhaps that's part of the trigger. --‡ Trog ‡ 18:18, 10 August 2012 (PDT)

Did you have the dreamers clock equipped? Also, was that weapon damage or spell damage? Patojonas 10:43, 15 August 2012 (PDT)

Got Hammer again. This time after adventuring mostly in the Crypts. Lot's of damage opportunity there. --‡ Trog ‡ 15:57, 4 September 2012 (PDT)

Hammer. Same deal as last time. Sector-7 Gamma and the Ancient Crypts so I was dealing tons of damage. --‡ Trog ‡ 16:10, 10 September 2012 (PDT)

Hammer again. Still virtuous. --‡ Trog ‡ 18:40, 24 September 2012 (PDT)

Fate gave me a Christmas present of Hammer. The previous day was spent mostly on the Farthest Reaches of Insanity, Row v. Wade Battlefield, and Fiendish Pit, using the dreamer's clock, with a Balanced reputation. --Hawksmoor 00:11, 25 December 2012 (CST)

Yeah, sorry, a lot of back-entries. The Hammer I got was completely unexpected. The day before, I was a level 30 Elem (was there from a few days ago), spent time at the VR centre, Insanity, Triassic Park, Area 54, and retconed. Now, if I got Wraith, that would be totally expected.... --hoyifung04 (talk) 12:38, 19 January 2013 (PST)

Hammer. Entire previous day spent in Farthest Reaches of Insanity. I always use the clock, and the furnace (so it's not melee damage), but I only started farming here again a couple days ago, and haven't gotten hammer in a long time, so I think it's the zone. Has anyone gotten it in any other Dreamer's Clock zone besides this one? --Dogberry 5/23/13:11:22PM CDT

Yep, my alts got it many times while farming the clock zones, I too think its related to adventuring there. Patojonas 13:46, 24 May 2013 (PDT)

I got Hammer on 5/20, 5/22, and 5/26. I got Claw on 5/24. I seldom use caffeine/sugar. I spend all my turns in the Farthest Reaches of Insanity with my Arcane Scholar and I firestorm EVERYTHING. I spend my PP when I fill up, but other than that, FIRE FIRE FIRE! --Isladar (talk) 20:30, 26 May 2013 (PDT)

Hammer again today. I think it is also linked to gaining a level, which I did yesterday. Everything else was the same. No caffeine or sugar, incidentally. --Isladar (talk) 02:53, 30 May 2013 (PDT)

Hammer: Adventured only in the Outer Reaches of Insanity. Used only the skill Firestorm. 18 spell criticals. Bonus XP from skills and Arcane Scholar. Gained a level.

Claw

I got Frost on one of my lower-levelled alt which adventure at the Golden Wooden Nickel Casino after the dog days of summer. Maybe do a certain amount of elem damage? Also, I got Claw on my lever-levelled Nat, which adventures at the Underwater Base. Finally, a non-Frost AoD! --hoyifung04 20:24, 25 September 2011 (PDT)

Well, I got Claw on 16 Oct, but I was a Level 7 Elemental on the 2nd day of a new retcon, and I was unable to use it. The level requirement is 15. :( Sanjuro 11:15, 16 October 2011 (PDT)

I've received Claw today at rollover with a level 36 gadgeteer which is my second time getting it (First instance was on the 3rd at level 30) since I began leveling at the Castle. Only irregular thing I am doing is burning a lot of clockwork keys to try and speed leveling along. Outside of that standard ranged attacks are being used on any non-clockwork encounters. --Valmo 20:19, 6 November 2011 (PST)

Got Claw. I hadn't played in a few days so I adventured through 7 a.m. exclusively in Roe Vs. Wade. --‡ Trog ‡ 06:56, 17 February 2012 (PST)

Got Claw as a level 7 Naturalist, so unable to use it. Was a level 17 Elemental yesterday though before retconning, so would've been eligible to use it otherwise.--Acidcat1 06:30, 2 March 2012 (PST)

Claw. First time. Spent my turns taming the ocean, just like I have been doing for the last several weeks. Hit level 30 yesterday. Killed some villains, but nothing out of the ordinary there. Cast a bunch of buffs on myself, but again, not unusual. --Isladar 02:54, 7 September 2012 (PDT)

Claw, L18 Elemental, Virtuous. Sanjuro 16:40, 18 September 2012 (PDT)

Got Claw on my level 20 Gadgeteer, Honorable. Nothing that I considered really of note yesterday, except I was knocked out a whole hell of a lot. Krithan (talk) 21:24, 19 November 2012 (PST)

My alt got Claw today, finally something besides Shadow. Yesterday I finished the Space Station quest and fought a few more robots there, then spent the rest of my time farming at the Cube and Triassic Park. I also used a lot more buffs on myself than usual. Sena (talk) 22:56, 23 January 2013 (PST)

Got Claw after spending a marathon day killing stuff mostly in Sector 7-G. I don't remember there being an exceptional rate of occurrence of criticals, but since I spent 12 in-game hours doing stuff, the number of criticals could have been very high. --‡ Trog ‡ (talk) 13:41, 17 February 2013 (PST)

I got Claw as a Level 24 Psion. The only thing I did differently from most days was that I traded some old IOTM's for lots of chips. Sanjuro (talk) 23:37, 22 February 2013 (PST)

I got Claw again, Level 26 Psion. Spent the previous day farming SQUID discs in the Vincile building, with occasional side trips to fight various static villains and the Orwhal. Sanjuro (talk) 20:36, 25 February 2013 (PST)

I got Claw and Shadow today. For Claw, I spent the majority of the day spelunking, then a bit of time at the Cube Theater. Because I was mostly spelunking, I didn't do a lot of fighting, so I doubt I got an unusually high number of criticals. I can't think of anything else of note. For Shadow, I mostly completed the level 6-9 quests, and spent a lot of time resting. Sena (talk) 21:20, 26 February 2013 (PST)

I got Claw today. I had done a bunch of ranged damage but definitely remember a few critical hits. I don't know if there were more than normal, though. --‡ Trog ‡ (talk) 12:08, 7 April 2013 (PDT)

I got Claw without any combat adventures the day before, so no crits or damage or anything. I don't think I did anything besides buy/use caffeine and sugar (with sugar purifier), then spend all my time spelunking with nonseizium gear. I also gained a level. Sena (talk) 17:44, 9 April 2013 (PDT)

And again on a different character today. Used sugar purifier, bought sugar, used caffeine and sugar, spent all my time spelunking with nonseizium gear, gained a level. I don't think I did anything else at all. Sena (talk) 07:35, 10 April 2013 (PDT)

I got Claw on my alt who spent most of the day in the Castle Hundenswein. There was a brief interlude at the arena, but nothing else out of the ordinary that I can recall. I did level. Perhaps Sena's on to something. --‡ Trog ‡ (talk) 15:31, 15 April 2013 (PDT)

Claw again, same situation (bought sugar, used caffeine/sugar, nothing but spelunking, gained a level), but this time without sugar purifier. Sena (talk) 17:06, 19 April 2013 (PDT)

Frost (already figured out)

Well, I got Frost (Nat level 30) after a full day of adventuring at the Inner Cochise Base and Triassic. I think I also fought Frostheim, which would make sense as a trigger. --User:Nommy 12:06 13 August 2011 (EST)

My alts (which have received Frost) adventure in Castle Hundenswein and the Cube Theater, with Villains enabled and wearing a Trident of Nodens. Some thoughts of mine include: defeat Deacon Frostheim; and do a certain amount of ice damage. Seeing as my lower-levelled alts have not received Frost, the first seems less likely. --hoyifung04 20:25, 31 August 2011 (PDT)

Hmmm... interesting.... I got Frost on my lower-levelled Gadget today, after adventuring at the Casino Grounds. No elem damage (as far as I could tell - UW:Lethalised is not active anymore, and none of my equipment does elem damage). There goes my theory of "do enough elem damage...." --hoyifung04 20:52, 24 October 2011 (PDT)

Grr... Frost again. And the sad thing is, it's easy to stop getting it if the trigger is known! --hoyifung04 20:35, 14 January 2012 (PST)

Ah, Frost again. I should spend time doing stuff to stop myself from getting Frost. --hoyifung04 20:30, 24 January 2012 (PST)

So cold, Frost, so very cold.... --hoyifung04 20:19, 19 March 2012 (PDT)

Stop it, Frost, you're making me look like a jerk! --hoyifung04 04:25, 21 March 2012 (PDT)

Got frost. I used Ice Bolt a lot yesterday. --‡ Trog ‡ 09:51, 1 April 2012 (PDT)

Frost, on my low-leveled Gadget, which, to my knowledge, does not do ice damage. Also, Frost, you're still making me look like a jerk. --hoyifung04 20:44, 2 April 2012 (PDT)

Uh... Frost? Again? Two days in a row on the same alt? That isn't supposed to happen... perhaps that bug wasn't fixed yet? --hoyifung04 20:48, 5 April 2012 (PDT)

Fine, Frost, you win! I haven't changed at all, have I? --hoyifung04 20:29, 13 April 2012 (PDT)

There, I've finally taken the time and changed my ways, and now won't get Frost again. I hope you don't see me as a jerk anymore.... --hoyifung04 20:56, 14 April 2012 (PDT)

The only thing I figured from those hints is that reputation might be involved, but I'd have to go out of my way to check it (since my current rep definitely isn't the right one =P ) --Patojonas 03:31, 16 May 2012 (PDT)

Got Frost today on Jetpack. The only thing I do with that account right now is farm the Castle. Reputation Vigilante. --Harry Dresden 06:53, 17 May 2012 (PDT)

Frost. Hmmmmm hoy... I have no idea what I did to get it awarded. There was no ice damage either dealt or received as far as I can remember. --‡ Trog ‡ 15:36, 15 June 2012 (PDT) I take that back. I was fighting in Sector 7-G so I killed a bunch of Frostbots. Is that it?--‡ Trog ‡ 15:44, 15 June 2012 (PDT)

Well, if you were virtuous the day before getting it then there goes the reputation theory.... Patojonas 14:20, 16 June 2012 (PDT)

I was "Just". What was the theory? --‡ Trog ‡ 16:41, 16 June 2012 (PDT)

Ah, so your rep was among those on the left column, then the theory still stands that you might need one of those reps to get Frost ;) Patojonas 06:22, 17 June 2012 (PDT)

...Frost? Oh, that jerk! --hoyifung04 20:28, 18 July 2012 (PDT)

Got Frost today on Cinder, an alt I'm using to farm the Goody Two Shoes rally with the Trident of Nodens right now. Reputation: Vigilante. --Harry Dresden 08:19, 6 August 2012 (PDT)

Frost as a level 5 Natty. Don't believe I've used ice magic, but I am using a cold shoulder shirt. Cristiona 20:18, 13 August 2012 (PDT)

Your reputation is among those of the left column, the "theory" so far... Patojonas 10:43, 15 August 2012 (PDT)

I got Frost on an alt with Judicious reputation. I don't think I did anything at all on the alt yesterday, and if I did it was just using caffeine/sugar. Seems like a pretty good confirmation that it just requires the right reputation. Sena (talk) 14:02, 25 February 2013 (PST)

Frost: L142 Gadg, Rep: just, spent last several days in Guild for Imaginative Metachromism. Dogberry 27 Feb 2013 17:18 CST

Since you were largely sure of Frost, and Ryme gave me permission to spoil it, I'll confirm that it is having a selfish reputation. --hoyifung04 (talk) 13:40, 3 March 2013 (PST)

Shadow

I got Shadow after spending the better part of a day in Shiloh. I didn't do anything special that day that I can remember other than use the Light Cycle instead of my normal transportation. --‡ Trog ‡ 16:45, 19 September 2011 (PDT)

I got the shadow again, but for the first time on this character. I just retconed and this is only the second day of this run. I built a light cycle, though, before I retconed. This is either a huge coincidence given my experience from last time or the trigger for getting the shadow. Can someone check that out? --‡ Trog ‡ 07:54, 10 October 2011 (PDT)

One of my alts got Shadow the day after finding one of those cursed scraped elijah bots. Also, spent the day before finding it looking for it with the same equipment. To do so I had 4 sources of noncombats and curiously the weapon itself is a source of noncombats. Perhaps adventuring with the max noncombat chances makes you eligible to get this one? --Patojonas 06:11, 16 February 2012 (PST)

Again, same alt, same gears adventuring on the same place, found one scraped elijah bot and the next day got Shadow. --Patojonas 14:40, 19 February 2012 (PST)

Got Shadow after getting an Elijah bot. --‡ Trog ‡ 18:44, 16 April 2012 (PDT)

Got Shadow. Psion, first retcon, lvl 9. Spent all my turns in the Joke day zone only had about 16 turns after midnight hit(joke day closes at 12.) so didn't bother to use them and let them rollover to today(Stopped adventuring at like 12:03 or something). Didn't go to soho, didn't use lightcycle, had neutral noncombat(nothing gave that stat I was wearing) I did make some xentrium boots tho so maybe the elija bot guy was building something? Other than that didn't do too much. Judious rep, used a range weapon, 36811Stan

Got Shadow. Used one adventure yesterday in the League Battleground. Consumed sugar and caffeine, banked the rest. --Isladar 04:44, 20 October 2012 (PDT)

Are you sure that's all you did...? Cristiona (talk) 20:13, 18 November 2012 (PST)

Got Shadow on level 33 Psion hero, Balanced. Only things I really did were beat Mick and farm at the castle. Krithan (talk) 20:16, 23 November 2012 (PST)

Pretty sure you did something else. Remember, nowhere is it said that all the triggers involve adventuring.Cristiona (talk) 20:00, 24 November 2012 (PST)

I'm new here, so I hope I'm doing this right. I got Shadow 4 times in the last week. The only thing in common that I can think of is autoselling a lot of things (I usually wait and sell a lot all at once), though I didn't know anything about specific triggers at first so I didn't really keep track of everything I did until yesterday. In an attempt to test the autoselling theory, yesterday I sold 176 items for a total of 58,315 chips on my alt, and did get Shadow today. Sena (talk) 21:11, 19 January 2013 (PST)

Probably just a coincidence; I've gotten Shadow before, and I've never auto-sold anything. Also, welcome! --hoyifung04 (talk) 10:21, 20 January 2013 (PST)
Looks like it was just a coincidence. Just got Shadow a 5th time, with almost no auto-selling. I can't think of anything else in common. Sena (talk) 21:10, 20 January 2013 (PST)

I got Shadow on my Psion a few days ago. Had the Orwhal that day, and adventured in Your neighbourhood with my normal gear (which is what I wear unless I'm fighting the Horde). I don't think I assembled or welded anything that day. --hoyifung04 (talk) 10:30, 10 February 2013 (PST)

I got Shadow again. All my time was spent spelunking. After that, I bought a lot of items from the mall and stores, and did a lot of welding. Sena (talk) 02:00, 21 February 2013 (PST)

Shadow: L142 Gadg. Recorded 107 mecha kills in guild, then Guild for Imaginative Metachromism. I used a lot of combat items, build several mechapinatas and did a lot of resting on the mechas, so resting or welding may have something to do with it (As Sena suggested). Also, I piled on the damage absorption, which seems like it might go with the shadow theme. --Dogberry 2 March 2013; 22:28 CST

My main got Shadow one day and 3 days after, just as I changed my castle strategy to increase the number of noncombats. This reminded me of the time I was looking for the robot parts in the sanatarium, before we knew of the mechanic specifics, where I was also aiming for noncombats and got it a few times (maximum of 48% noncombats achievable in there). This leads me to think there is a minimum amount of time spent with noncombat adventures in the previous day needed to qualify for this one. Patojonas 19:18, 15 March 2013 (PDT)

Star

I got Star today on my Elem who adventures at the protest. Used two Firestorms yesterday; maybe do enough damage with spells? --hoyifung04 20:50, 30 September 2011 (PDT)

I got the star on my alt (Delmar) after completing the Cube adventure. I did some damage with skills and spells, namely Animal Kung-Follery and Ice Bolt. Delmar was a Level 10 Psion when I got this. I didn't think that the damage that I did was excessive or remarkable, though. --‡ Trog ‡ 17:46, 7 October 2011 (PDT)

Got it again after using the Light Cycle for plus items. That remains the only correlation that I see. --‡ Trog ‡ 18:11, 15 November 2011 (PST)

Star this time. Only thing that remains the same is that I used a combat skill (Firestorm) the day before. --hoyifung04 20:32, 30 January 2012 (PST)

Got star. The only thing that I can think of, given its special powers, is since I killed The Mick using a lot of Tornado it might have something to do with doing spell damage. --‡ Trog ‡ 13:32, 31 March 2012 (PDT)

Got Star, after using a firestorm yesterday. Also, in completely unrelated news, has anyone managed to figure out Frost yet, with those hints I gave? --hoyifung04 20:34, 15 May 2012 (PDT)

Got Star again, and I'm pretty sure that alt used a firestorm.... --hoyifung04 20:21, 28 May 2012 (PDT)

In getting Star today, I can say that the previous day was spent all at the Castle... with only my final adventure being in the Crypts. So I had the dreamer's clock equipped. All physical attacks, except that one at the Crypts, whatever that's worth. --Jesus 20:31, 24 August 2012 (PDT)

Got Star on Level 13 Psion, Altruist. Spent a bunch of turns two days ago, but yesterday, don't think I did many at all. --Olaf 20:23, 3 October 2012 (PDT)

Got Star on my main, after using spells in combat again. --hoyifung04 20:40, 12 October 2012 (PDT)

Got Star on the 7th and the 9th. Spun my Dreidl and attacked, mostly. On a few combats I spun my Dreidl and plinked with mind poke. I did use my Nova on both days. --Isladar (talk) 02:59, 9 January 2013 (PST)

I got Star today, yesterday I spent most of my time farming the Cube, with a bit of time spent in Castle Hundenswein. I almost always attacked with firestorm or lightning bolt. Sena (talk) 04:52, 4 February 2013 (PST)

Fortune

I got Fortune on my Nat the day after the Frank's Ballpark event. After the ballpark, that alt continued to adventure in the underwater base. --hoyifung04 20:41, 16 October 2011 (PDT)

I got Fortune, after spending most of my time farming at the Cube. I also attempted (rather unsuccessfully) to fight the Orwhal several times. Sena (talk) 01:40, 5 February 2013 (PST)

I got Fortune as a Level 11 Gadgeteer, the day after defeating The Mick. Sanjuro (talk) 20:58, 31 March 2013 (PDT)

Wraith (already figured out)

I got Wraith twice, and both days I had beaten the Mick and retconned just before rollover (i.e. like Harry on Day 2). --Acidcat1 11:18, 20 September 2011 (PDT)

I received Wraith today on my main which at present is a level 6 gadgeteer. The particulars are I spent my entire day one of a retcon on Teeter Street trying to harvest data from the xp non-combat. I ended up getting beaten up a ton so I'm leaning towards thinking that losing fights has a part to play in getting Wraith. Given how it seems to arrive on day two for people who do get it I'm going to go out on a limb and say being the most beaten up person on day one of a retcon is a potential trigger. I guess I can test it on my next retcon and see if I can get it again. --Valmo 15:35, 14 October 2011 (PDT)

I got Wraith again today, day 2 of retcon as level 6 naturalist. I didn't get particularly beaten up yesterday any more than normal. My guess is it looks at everyone who retconned the last day and just picks one of them at random.--Acidcat1 00:36, 21 October 2011 (PDT)

Someone on day 2 of her run (level 4 Gadget, I think) got Wraith. --hoyifung04 08:04, 14 January 2012 (PST)

I forget who it was now, but someone got Wraith a few days ago on day 2 of a run without having used time the previous day. I'm going to say that day 2 is the trigger. Now, can Wraith be obtain on day 2 of the original run...? --hoyifung04 16:06, 9 March 2012 (PST)

Aewyre got wraith, on day 2 of a retcon ... wonder if people who transmogrify everyday have gotten it...that would shed some light on the trigger :/ --Patojonas 07:05, 25 March 2012 (PDT)

I just started this run but got a bunch of HP and PP back from weapon damage due to my use of the Knight of Ruin as my talisman. Given the Wraith's special features, maybe that is a contributing fator. --‡ Trog ‡ 18:19, 17 July 2012 (PDT)

Wraith, second day of a new retcon, L9 Elemental, Altruist. Sanjuro 12:35, 9 September 2012 (PDT)

I've gotten Wraith on the second day of my run twice in a row now. Each time I cast spells in most, but not all, battles. I buffed myself a lot. I got beaten up a bit and had to rest. I don't recall what else I did that might have triggered it. --Isladar (talk) 04:33, 2 February 2013 (PST)
