Go to Gadgeteer Skills (level 12 skill, trained at the Training Room)
Catalyze
You built yourself a fancy catalyzer unit in your hideout that can be used to convert materials at the molecular level.
Upgrades materials with a catalyzer unit
Notes
- The items that can be catalyzed depend on S, where S is the number of skill points invested.
- In practice used from the Workbench interface at your Hideout.
- Catalyzation functions like decryption on a computer; the conversion process works in the background as you patrol.
- When skill points were first introduced, the items that could be catalyzed were to depend on S:
S required | Source item | Target item | Time |
---|---|---|---|
0 | Titanium | Tritanium | 60 minutes |
0 | Plasteel | Polysteel | 90 minutes |
3 | Cybertronium | Byzantium | 90 minutes |
6 | Cryonite | Pentium | 60 minutes |
8 | Cavorite | Paladinum | 90 minutes |
10 | Illuminum | Malkamite | 90 minutes |
? | Caffeine pill | small hyper-c | 45 minutes |
? | Powdered mojo | large hyper-c | 60 minutes |
- Prior to the introduction of skill points, all conversions were possible.
- The name of the skill is based on a suggestion made by Rykar as part of the May 2009's bounty.
