Strike-back damage
From Twilight Heroes Wiki
Strike-back damage is applied whenever you are hit by a foe. You get the message:
Your opponent is damaged by your fierce defenses, and takes X damage.
Strike-back damage cannot kill an opponent. When an opponent would have been killed by strike-back damage it is canceled and you get the message:
Your opponent appears to be in pretty bad shape. It pulls back before your defenses cause it critical damage.
Frusion Enemies take only one Strike-back damage every hit, with a special message:
Your [sic] seems slightly put off by your defenses, and takes 1 damage.
