- The effects of one unit of Foe toughness include:
- +1/2 XP (rounded up), only if the effect was active at the beginning of combat.
- Unspaded effect on tohit, dodge, offense and defense.
- All effects apply for both positive and negative foe toughness.
- The XP effect only applies if the foe toughness modifier was active at the beginning of the fight (as it is with all sources in the table below).
- There is one exception to the above rule: using throwing star - red dwarf in combat does effect XP. This was verified with Ryme to be the only exception.
- Foe toughness modifiers do not apply to scaling foes.

Weakening on hit

- Weakening an opponent does not effect the XP gained, since it is not active at the beginning of the fight,
